Lands and Wonderlands
New York University
The Victorian Studies Group at New York University announces its second annual graduate student conference on Victorian literature and culture, this year entitled *Lands and Wonderlands*. We are pleased to feature as a keynote speaker Judith Walkowitz, Professor of History and Women's Studies at Johns Hopkins University and author of *The City of Dreadful Delight* and *Prostitution and Victorian Society*. The conference will take place on February 23-24, 1996 at New York University.
Last year's conference, *Victoria's Secrets*, hosted approximately 75 papers from graduate students representing over 35 insitutions in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. It was an outstanding conference and an excellent opportunity to hear current work in the field. We are looking forward to continuing the tradition.
