Southwest Symposium,
The Southwest Symposium, an interdisciplinary conference produced by graduate students from the University of New Mexico English Department, invites you to submit an abstract for our seventh annual conference. Selected papers and creative work will be published in the Symposium journal, which will be available the week of the Symposium. We invite papers exploring the following topics: All areas of literature, canonical and non-canonical; Gender issues; Queer theory; Literary criticism; Language and Rhetoric; Pedagogy. We also invite creative writing submissions.
We especially encourage you to submit proposals for panels of three to four persons.

Paper, creative writing and panel selections will be anonymous and competitive.
Please submit an abstract of no more than 250 words. The abstract should contain a title, but it should not have your name or university on it. Please include a brief cover letter identifying your abstract by title. The deadline for abstract submissions is November 30, 1995.
